Designed to integrate with the surrounding landscape, the residence bridges the mouth of a small boulder cove, naturally framing a secluded northern courtyard. To the south, the home enjoys distant views of Joshua Tree National Park. The home’s layout is built around a freestanding boulder that commands the space between the house and the carport—a symbol of the high desert’s raw, sculptural beauty.
